Hawk HP PLUS high performance street pads have moderate dust, moderate rotor wear, high initial bite and a Maximum Operating Temperature (MOT) slightly higher than Hawk HPS. They tend to be noisy, often squealing under light braking, although proper bedding can help. Ideal for autocross and may be used for track days on lower horsepower cars. Not recommended for heavy track use, as friction level falls off rapidly when MOT is exceeded. Operating temperature range of 100-800 degrees F. Optimal temperature range of 300-600 degrees F.

Installed Hawk HP Plus pads on Z3M Coupe street/track car along with all new rotors front and rear from ECS. Followed manufacturer's suggested bed-in procedure, twice. The braking performance is decent, but the trade-off in acoustics is unacceptable, both cold and warm. Full on race pads (sprint and enduro) from other manufacturers have better acoustics than this pad, not to mention better stopping power and fade resistance. Contacted ECS to discuss what possibilities were available, was told all that can be done is to send the pads back to the manufacturer for analysis, at my cost. If nothing wrong is found with the pads then the pads will be returned to me. I am completely dissatisfied in this purchase, and would recommend to stay away from this product. So much for a 100% satisfaction guarantee.
