ECS 2.0T TSI OE Performance Induction Package

I install K&N filters on all my cars. Don't know if they do anything for the performance but I buy them to save money long term since I can wash them and they are good to go. The silicon hose was a plus. The hose is good quality but doesn't sit flush on the outgoing connection of the factory air box. You have to hold it down while another tightens the hose clamp. Other than that one small issue, this is a great piece of kit.

I bought this induction package for two reasons. 1. For better appearance under the hood. It does look much better than the stock tube. 2. for better sound of the turbo noises. It's not a lot louder than stock, but it does make a little difference with turbo sounds from what I can tell in daily driving. On a side note, the stock airbox and intake work so well I don't see why anyone would buy a $400-$500 intake when this is available. currently running stage 2 software with this and a catted downpipe. 2014 GTI Car rips and is fun to drive without being loud and obnoxious.
