I have been running APR's stage 2 with downpipe (lucky enough to snag one before they discontinued production) for almost 2 years on the stock intercooler with APR cai, turbo inlet pipe, ignition boots and Racingline turbo muffler delete. I would always notice the power drop between 3500 to 4600rpm after my first hard pull. After installing APR's intercooler along with APR's full charge pipe kit and full boost hose kit I can definitely say 100% that issue is gone. Now I can pull with confidence knowing that dude in the (you know) next to me is second guessing he's purchase and praying to whomever we're not going to the same place. Which would make it easier for his lady friend to ask for a ride home! It was either the intercooler or APR exhaust for my next big mod and I'm glad I decided to go with the intercooler. Plus the stock exhaust with downpipe still sounds pretty good imo. If you're on the fence, go intercooler, I know it's not a flashy mod but it's well worth the price and it allows for even more HP to be added in the future, that's all that matters! Also BMP Tuning were extremely fast in getting my order processed and then shipped out.
